John Horgan

If Witten is correct(highly questionable) man will never truly know the answer to the ultimate questions. This article written by John Horton shares links to previous articles he has written regarding consciousness at the bottom of the page. I really like his style of writing.

Seeking the source

Constantly searching for what Chi actually is separates practitioners of the worlds established religions and Atheists from what Logosists believe. Also arguably from what Agnostics believe, but only arguably though in a remote sense.

Mystery force

What is the driving force "Chi" that causes molecules in cells to behave and function with a purpose?

Ethics/Morals

For life forms to continue existing and multiplying, they must have an innate ability to coexist and yet be capable of competing so that they can prosper and improve in function. This form of consciousness is the cornerstone of what is referred to as morals/ethics. Without this life no longer continues but instead falls back into chaos which is the opposite of what the life force does.

The protein that is transcribed in my little toe has a consciousness, in that, it knows what it's task is either within the cell it was formed, or it knows where else it needs to go in order to do it's function.

Where is chi?

Chi could quite possibly pass in waves or be simply present in vast expanses of space over large areas of space, with areas in the universe not having chi present. Whether the removal of chi in an area abundant with life makes life cease to exist is open to discussion.

Chi

The God label for the force of life tends to awaken images of a Deity or Deities. I think I will call this force Chi from the Chinese word for "life force" or "energy flow", though there is no certainty of energy involved, but perhaps there is. Science may unravel that question some day.

Worship?

No worship. Worship isn't counter productive, but then worship isn't productive either. The world is full of worshippers and just look at the suffering that goes on. Yeah, lots of happiness too, but it's not from worshipping anything.

1.0

Life is not, to put it plainly, simply a chemical reaction or even a particle collision.

Extraterrestrial

The search for some type of life beyond the earth continues and when we find it, that will be extraordinary, but to many, not a complete surprise.
